Michelangelo the great Italian Sculptor once said: “Every block of stone has a statue inside it and it is the task of the sculptor to discover it “. There has never been a more immediate and pressing need for agriculture professionals than now. The current generation of professionals entering the workplace must find ways to double food production without increasing the amount of land and water devoted to agriculture – truly one of the world’s grand challenges. The students who enroll in the College of Agriculture want more than just jobs; they want careers that matter and provide opportunities to make a difference in the world. I can’t think of nobler professions than those dedicated to preserving our earth for future generations.

We take great pride that about 90% of our College’s recent graduates secured jobs in their fields of study with starting salaries in the range of 15,000 to 25000. You might also be interested to know that more than a quarter of graduates from colleges of agriculture and related sciences go on to earn post graduate or Ph. D. degree, where annual earnings can even double. Our graduate programs provide a pathway to academia, industry and agency careers for those whose goal it is to lead change in agriculture and environmental issues.

Many successful alumni around the country are evidence of the academic excellence rooted at the C. P. College of Agriculture. A committed and renowned faculty engages students with hands-on experiences, research opportunities and connections to communities at national level. Sincerely,
