The University has a very versatile and effective extension services for disseminating latest technology for creating awareness about the latest developments in the field of agriculture and allied sectors among the stakeholders/farmers. All the mandated activities are carried out by the Directorate of Extension. The university also organize an unique extension activities in place besides mandated activities for dissemination of new technologies. It conduct the largest mass contact programme in the form of krishimahotsav during kharif season in which each village is contacted by multi disciplinary expert team for dissemination of latest technology and the on spot remedies of location specific problems faced by the farmers. It also ropes in other departments concerned with rural development including health camps and sanitation.
