Documentation of data based information for agriculture and allied areas Forecasting of the preventive measures based on weather records. Keeping the farmers aware of market fluctuations and demand of agricultural commodities at national and international level. Publication of innovatives to make farmers aware of the development of technologies in the world. To collect and update other information useful to farming community as per their demand. To provide required information to needy persons / visitors on the spot.

To impart knowledge and production skills in Crop Production, Horticulture, Farm forestry, Animal husbandry, Poultry keeping, Apiculture, Health and Nutrition, etc to the tribal farmers. To educate the farm families to use appropriate low cost technologies in the farm and homes. To diversify the use of labour in lean period through subsidiary enterprises like live stock farming, poultry keeping, apiculture, home crafts etc. To conduct need based training programme for farmers, farm women, farm youth and landless labourers. To conduct training programme as per needs of voluntary organizations cooperative societies etc. subject to conveniences of the training centre.

To establish, maintain and expand photographic gallery of the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. To establish and maintain agricultural museum. To establish information centre. To guide the visitors and conduct tour of visitors on ardarkrushinagar Campus. To diffuse the latest scientific information among the farmers. To provide specialized as well as general nature of training in the field of agriculture, animal husbandry, home science etc. To train present and prospective farmers for roficiency in farm technology and management through participating experience. To train home makers and youths. To train skilled workers and technicians engaged in the supporting services. To develop abilities among farmers to organize land, labour and capital sources into efficient production units. To prepare, produce and distribute useful farm literature to the farmers.
